Yes.
In many instances, deals will involve the same investors. Having to enter the same information for each deal can become redundant and time consuming. To help avoid this, MCA Suite lets you enter default investors for deal syndication as well as their participation percentages and corresponding fees. To do so, browse to the Admin tab and on the left hand navigation, click on Setup > Syndication Configuration. There you will see two sections, one for defining the investors that should participate by default on all deal syndications along with their default participation %, as well as the default fees that should show up for all investors.
Similar to how syndication is normally set up for a deal, you would define the investor by entering in the company name and the participation percentage. You can also define the fee collection type for the investor (see the article on Concurrent vs Backend for more information about collection types).
Once this information is saved, all future syndicated deals will have this investor information entered by default. For example, after adding Investor A at 10% all future deal syndications will have Investor A show up at 10% participation.
You can always delete the default investor from any deal syndication or make changes to participation. The default settings are only a convenience so you don't have to repeatedly enter for each deal syndication if you typically have the same investors.
Likewise, you can enter default fees to show up for every deal syndication.
And those will also show up whenever you are syndicating new deals.
Again, this will save you the trouble of always typing in a default fee name and defining default fee percentages but can always be deleted/edited.
